About This Project

Joining the Chayvo & Odoptu fields located in the far east of Russia, SAK-1 wells produce crude oil & gas. SAK-1 holds the record for longest extended-reach drilled well in the world, over 11,600m. The Arkutun-Dagi platform was built by DSME and was the world’s heaviest ever float-over at 42k tons.

Scope of Work

CSET was awarded FEED and Detailed Design in 2009 for 15 Telecom Systems for the A-D Platform, subsequently 3 procurement packages: VHF-AM Radio, Special Bulks & Crane Radio.

  • Telecom FEED & Detailed Engineering design, producing 736 documents to AFD stage
  • Systems included CCTV, PAGA, PABX-Tels, LAN, TETRA Trunked Radio & Microwave
  • Aviation VHF, Crane radios, System Integration, Procurement Support & Commissioning
  • Integration support to LAN/WAN and TETRA DTR Systems
  • Multiple Countries Certification/Compliance
  • Design for Extreme cold climatic conditions
  • Design to GOST Standard
  • CSET supported commissioning at DSME yard up to 2014
